Real project

A service portal instead of a full inbox

Client requests come in through a portal and appear in monday.com straight away. Clients and the team see the same status.

1 place for every request, its status and the latest reply

Tools

  • monday.com
Illustration with made-up names and numbers. Not real client data.

Before

Clients sent their questions and issues by email. Someone had to copy each one into monday.com, the board was hard to keep up to date, and clients had to ask for updates.

What I built

  1. Automated: Clients log in with a link sent to their work email, no password needed
  2. Automated: They submit a request in the portal, with screenshots or files
  3. Automated: It appears in monday.com straight away
  4. A person decides: The team picks it up and replies from the portal
  5. Automated: The client sees the status and the latest update, without having to ask

How it fits together

  1. Client portal
  2. monday.com
  3. Reply from the team
  4. Email to the client
  5. Status back in the portal

The result

The team sees at a glance what is still open, and so does the client. No more requests lost in an inbox, and far fewer “any news?” emails.
